The Dooly County Planning Commission will conduct a Public Hearing at 5:30 PM on July 14, 2025, at the Dooly County Commissioners Office at 113 N. Third Street in Vienna. The purpose of the Public Hearing is to allow the Planning Commission to receive citizens’ input and comments on the following zoning request.

 

Request #1 – Wilbert Whitehead Jr. has submitted application for Variance of Zoning for a parcel #95-10 that is currently zoned AG (Agricultural). The purpose of the variance is to allow 2 -8 X 40 storage containers to encroach on the setback allowance of 10 ft for auxiliary buildings on the property. The location is 3310 Barber Shop Road: Unadilla, GA 31091.

 

Request #2 – Gabriel Eric Phillips has submitted applications for Rezoning of parcel #74-1D that are currently zoned C-2 (Commercial) to AG (Agricultural).  The purpose of the Rezoning is to build a home on the property. The location is 1007 Northern County Line Rd: Unadilla, GA 31091.
