The Dooly County Planning Commission will conduct a Public Hearing at 5:30 PM on September 9, 2024, at the Dooly County Commissioners Office at 113 N. Third Street in Vienna.  The purpose of the Public Hearing is to allow the Planning Commission to receive citizens’ input and comments on the following zoning requests.

 

Request #1 – Randall & Barbara Robinson have submitted applications for Rezoning of (4) parcels (#12-54, #12-57, #12-69, and #12-71) that are currently zoned R-2 (Residential Multifamily) to AG (Agricultural).  The purpose of the Rezoning is to use the land for hunting. The location is 489 Campers Haven Road; Vienna, GA 31092.

 

Request #2 – Linda Arrington has submitted application for Variance of Zoning for a parcel (#12-22C) that is currently zoned R-2 (Residential Multifamily). The purpose of the variance is to allow a mobile home as a second dwelling on the property. The location is 1501 River Road; Vienna, GA 31092.

 

Request #3 – On behalf of Billy Granville, J. B. Faircloth & Associates, P.C. have submitted a Zoning Variance Application for a proposed new Parcel 58-6C.  The property is presently zoned Residential Single Family, which requires 150’ road frontage. The Variance will allow ingress/egress to the property by a 25’ easement, instead of road frontage.  The property is located on 9381 Highway 230 west of Unadilla, GA.
