June 8th Update

Hi Everyone,

I will be in the office for only a few hours for the next few days. I am traveling around training our staff on the new system we are using for testing. The system will help us so much when we go live. It allows the clients to schedule their test, do all the registration on line, and get their results emailed to them. It is very neat and will help us small clinics with limited staff as well. I will send out more information as we work out the glitches and once we go live. We are hoping to go live in the next few days so look for that to come in the very near future.
Being out of the office, I am behind on our numbers. I know we still have 5 duplicates so you can subtract that from the total that is on the DPH site for Dooly. I also have a few 2 or 3 that need to be loaded in and I will catch up on that tonight as well.
The weather is calling for rain, which we really need, so we won’t be testing tomorrow. I will also be traveling to Marion County tomorrow to train the staff in that area. If you need me for anything please just email me or send me a text. I will get back with you as soon as possible. For those that have asked me questions, I haven’t forgot about you. The one with the answers was caught up in various trainings and meetings herself so I wasn’t able to discuss the issues brought to my attention. I will get back to you soon.
Last, but not least, the unity our county showed Sunday night was amazing and inspiring. I was so proud to be a witness to the word of God being shared in such a heartfelt way. I know in my heart that we all heard the message that was sent straight from God himself and meant to be shared far and wide. I left feeling more hope for our community and our world than I had been feeling for quite sometime. I think, personally, Dooly got it right! I am so proud of the social distancing, the mask, an everyone truly trying to be safe and responsible. I admit, I had to squeeze in some hugs….I miss hugs. I miss people and church and fellowship. It will come soon enough and like I have said many times……this too shall pass. We will have a new normal and we will look back on this time and realize that it has made us stronger as a person and as a community.

Be Safe, Stay Healthy, and God Bless
