April 15th Update

Good Evening,

Dooly Total Positive Cases:  55
Total Deaths: 5 (1 pending)

Total Tested Today:  10
Total Pending: 33

Please go to GDPH for updated totals for the whole state of Georgia.

We are still seeing our numbers rise and our testing become more available. Our testing criteria has changed once more and it makes it easier for someone to get tested.  I sent the newest update earlier today so please read over it. We are testing daily beginning at 12:30. Again, you must call prior to coming so we can screen you and give you a time to pull in. I do believe this week and next week is going to be our hardest yet. I hope we will begin to see our numbers level out after that if everyone continues to follow the guidelines we keep pushing. I saw an encouraging pop up on my phone from Pheobe Putney in Albany. They stated they had a positive milestone in the number of patients at their main emergency center who needed to be admitted. The number was the lowest they had seen in over a month. Any glimmer of hope is a blessing in this war we are fighting. We must not let our guard down and we must continue to be compliant with our efforts of sheltering in place, social distancing, hand washing/hand sanitizing, wearing a mask if you must go into a public area, do not go to work if you are sick, and stay quarantined and isolated if you are sick and/or have tested positive for COVID19. None of these things are optional or just a suggestion. They are essential to us getting back to our normal lives and to saving the lives of those most vulnerable populations. For some the symptoms are very mild but for others it’s deadly. We have to do our part.
I attached another summary report for those who wanted to see it.

Have a nice evening, stay safe, and God Bless,
