I am still here at the health department trying to catch up so this will be short and sweet. As you can see the numbers are climbing and will continue to climb. I wish I could give you all the positive side of this and say what number of negatives we have but I can’t. In my testing, I am about half positive and half negative. We are trying to test and triage people the best we know how. We are not able to test anyone without symptoms at this time…just as you wouldn’t get tested for the flu without flu like symptoms. I get asked that ALOT. We have to utilize our test kits for those who fit the criteria and educate, educate, educate, and educate some more. I do not have rapid test available to me. Yes, they’re out there but we haven’t been given any and I haven’t been told if or when we may see that in our area. I will let you all know as soon as I do.
Have a good night and continue to keep doing what I’ve been asking everyone to do. GO HOME, STAY HOME, IF THEY DON’T LIVE AT YOUR HOUSE THEY DON’T COME TO YOUR HOUSE, WASH YOUR HANDS, SANITIZE, ONLY GO OUT IF IT IS ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY, WEAR A MASK, STAND 6 FEET AWAY (SOCIAL DISTANCING), AND PRAY.
